Which Platform Should You Buy On?
- PS5 — the reference version: Pro enhancements, DualSense feedback, and the highest visual ceiling. Best default choice.
- Switch 2 — the only version with motion swordplay; Digital Foundry calls it Capcom’s best RE Engine port on Switch 2 to date. Choose it for portability or the gimmick.
- Xbox Series X|S — Play Anywhere between console and PC, plus cloud streaming with any Game Pass tier (the game itself still requires purchase).
- PC — Steam is the most active community; PC key resellers were already discounting at launch.
